FAQ

Q: What’s included in this package?

    • Achieve Your Target Grade In GCSE Maths In Four Weeks – The main revision guide of this program. It’s 200 pages long and details every step Jeevan took to get an A* (9) in GCSE maths a year early. All you have to do is copy it and your maths results are guaranteed to improve.

    • Over 8 Hours of Video Tutorials – Jeevan goes through (live) step-by-step the trickiest exam questions of the syllabus. Watch them in the comfort of your home and as many times as you like. You’ll get to see the mind and methods of a maths expert.

    • GCSE Maths Master Shortcuts – A smaller guide containing the greatest shortcuts ever discovered in GCSE maths. Use them in your revision and your peers and teachers will think you’re a genius.

    • GCSE Maths Tricks of the Trade – This guide builds on all the exam questions in the main revision guide. It shows you what questions to be weary of and how you can solve them quicker so you can get a higher overall mark in your exam.

    • How To Maximise Your Result In Every GCSE Exam – The only thing that can prevent you from getting your target grade in maths is other exams. This guide will show you how to balance-out your revision so you get a top grade in every one!

Q: Can I realistically achieve my target grade in GCSE maths in four weeks with this package?

If you are a resit student, yes. This program was designed specifically for resit students looking for a fast-track-route to GCSE maths success. Resit students typically don’t have many other exams to revise for so this program is best suited for them.

Even if you achieved an E/F (1/2) grade in your first exam, it is possible to achieve a C (4) in four weeks as long as you know how to do basic functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing and know when to use them. If you don’t, passing your GCSE maths exam in four weeks may be a little unrealistic and you will need up to 3 months to pass it.

Q: What if I’m a normal GCSE maths student taking my exam in year 11? Can I still benefit from this program? Also, can I achieve my target grade in GCSE maths in four weeks?

Yes, you’ll still benefit from this program greatly. The revision principles apply to all maths exams, whether you’re taking it in one month’s time or 6 month’s time.

Please bear in mind that you may have 9 other GCSE subjects to revise for so it’s only possible to achieve your target grade in four weeks if you’re currently sitting on a grade which is one lower than your target. For example, you’re currently sitting on a B (6) grade and your target is an A (7).

If you’re working on a grade which is two lower than your target (e.g. you’re currently sitting on a C / 5 grade and your target is an A / 7) then achieving your target grade in four weeks is a little unrealistic.

For GCSE students taking their exams in year 11, we strongly advise that you get this program as early as possible. It is possible to secure your target grades in all your GCSE exams with 3 months to spare but obviously it carries some more risk. By starting early, your revision becomes streamlined and there is a greater chance you’ll do far better in your exams than predicted. This usually happens to the majority of our students.

Q: Does this program cover all exam boards; Edexcel, AQA and OCR as well as the new specification (9-1)?

Yes, this program was created after trawling through hundreds of past paper questions from all the exam boards including the new specification (9-1) released in September 2015.

Q: How do I improve my grades in other GCSE subjects too?

Jeevan realised quite quickly that typical year 11 students would find it difficult to follow his program as they had numerous exams to revise for.

That’s why he recently added a bonus guide to this package called: ‘How To Maximise Your Result In Every GCSE Exam’. This guide contains a set of guidelines that students must follow in order to boost their grades across the board.

If you decide to get the full program, you should read this guide first before moving onto the main revision guide: Achieving Your Target Grade In GCSE Maths In Four Weeks.

Q: Is this a downloadable product or a physical product?

This is a downloadable product. We used to sell a physical version of this product but it was far too expensive to produce. This put off the majority of students because they were unable to afford it.

That’s why we recently converted it into an online product. By delivering it online, we reduce our cost massively and we’re able to pass on this cost-benefit to you by charging you a much lower price.

We offer a physical version of the main revision guide (200 pages long) on Amazon. This is for students who still cannot afford the full program but want access to the key ingredients for exam success.

Q: But I really want the physical package, is there anything you can do?

The next best alternative, is the package we offer to schools. You get the main revision guide, the video tutorials and the ‘GCSE Maths Master Shortcuts’ guide in physical format, but you do not get any of the other bonus guides. This package is priced at £84 P&P (inc. VAT) and you can get it from here: www.gcsemathsforschools.co.uk

Q: Am I better off with a downloadable product or a physical product?

Yes. Firstly for the cost-benefit mentioned in a previous question and secondly, because it’s more efficient for the student. We have found, through experience, that most students prefer e-materials as it’s easier to transfer. This enables you to follow the program anytime, anywhere. Had we produced all of these materials in hard copy, we would have sent you a box full of materials – not very efficient and quite cumbersome to store and manage!

Moreover, the GCSE specification is going through a transition (2015-2016). Current year 11 students will take the old specification in May/June 2016 whereas, year 10 students will sit the new spec (9-1) in May/June 2017.

Exam boards are currently experimenting with new topics and we update our program to reflect any changes. That’s why it’s important to have an electronic version of our program so we can send you updates as and when they occur.

Please bear in mind that once your a student of ours, you’ll receive lifetime updates from Jeevan at no extra cost. This may not be useful to you once you pass your exam but it will be useful for younger siblings.

Q: I have purchased the product but I have not received an email from Jeevan with all the content. What do I do?

Firstly, please check the email address associated with your payment method. An email will be sent to this email address. You have an option to change your email address at the time of purchase. We’d advise that you enter the student’s email address and not the buyer’s email address as Jeevan will send additional resources every now and then. A buyer could be the parent purchasing the program for their child.

If the email address is correct and you haven’t received the content within 24 hours, please send an email to contact@passgcsemaths.com and provide us with an alternative email address to send it to.

Q: I have brought the program and received all the materials, where is the best place to start?

As mentioned above, the best place to start is the ‘How To Maximise Your Result In Every GCSE Exam’ guide. Once you’ve read this and finalised your revision schedule, please go through the main revision guide: Achieve Your Target Grade In GCSE Maths Exam In Four Weeks on your “maths day”. Everything is explained in the ‘How To Maximise Your Result In Every GCSE Exam’ guide.

If you are a resit student and not revising for multiple exams, please begin with the main revision guide: Achieve Your Target Grade In GCSE Maths In Four Weeks.

Jeevan will also send you a mind-map on how to get the most out of this program. That’s why we advise that the buyer of our program enters the student’s email address at the time of purchase, instead of theirs.

Q: I have recently bought the program and I feel it’s not for me. What should I do?

You wouldn’t have purchased this program if you didn’t think it would benefit your revision in some way. That’s why we encourage you to give it a real go. Remember, you have 60 days to review the program. This gives you plenty of time to test our revision principles and see if it improves your results in school. Please don’t expect to see a big improvement within the first couple of weeks. It is usually between 4-6 weeks when students start seeing a massive difference in terms of results.

So far, we have had a 100% success rate. Every student who has used our program to full effect, have boosted their results by at least 1 whole grade so there is no reason why it won’t do the same for you. However, if you have seen no progress in results by the 8th week, please send us an email at: contact@passgcsemaths.com and we will issue you a full refund.
